The kilt belt is an important element of a highland outfit. Historically, a leather kilt belt was worn to prevent the kilt from slipping and also to hang a sword, dirk or pistol from.
My traditional kilt belts are made from 8-9 oz. (3.5-4mm) thick, premium top grain leather with high quality hardware. They are 2.25 inches wide to fit standard kilt belt buckles.
