My Story
Good day! My name is Brent Lowrie. Welcome to my store!
I'm a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, having served with the Calgary Highlanders, the Cadet Instructor's Cadre and the 26th Field Regiment RCA as both Pipe Sergeant and Pipe Major. I retired from the CAF Reserves as a Captain.
I have played the Highland Bagpipes for 50 years, ever since I was 9 years old when I heard the pipes for the first time. I currently compete in solo competition and with Vale United Pipe Band in the sunny Okanagan Valley of British Columbia in Canada.
I've been an artist all my life and currently work as an animator in the film and television industry. I started working with leather in January of 2020, as a creative outlet away from the computer monitor. Needless to say, I fell in love with the artform and have melded it with my passion for the Celtic arts.

Oh, and yes, I made that sporran!
